Tajikistan, known as the Republic of Tajikistan in full, is located in the middle of Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and China, and it is the only country among the five countries in Central Asia with the non-Turkic family being its main nationality.

The country's economy is relatively weak and its structure is relatively simple. The political and economic crisis after the disintegration of the Soviet Union in 1991 and the years of civil wars had seriously devastated the country's economy, with economic losses totaling more than $ 7 billion.

Tajikistan began to pick up the economy gradually in 1997, and issued new currency from the beginning of the 21st century, stabilized and improved the national financial system.
